In 1991 – after beef farming all of their lives – Paul & Linda Wallis and Charles & Beth O’Shea decided to try something different. They had recently been introduced to the safety and many other convenient features of a new method of heating and sensed an untapped market in Eastern Canada.
After selling a few Outdoor Wood Furnaces for a small local company, then manufacturing their own furnaces for a couple of years, Green Valley Heating quickly learned that building a durable, long lasting Outdoor Furnace was not an easy task.
A hastily prepared road trip and a fortunate turn of events, found Paul and Charles at HEATMOR’S doorstep one early July morning in 1995. They met the staff, viewed the facilities and were impressed with the whole atmosphere of the company. If Green Valley was to stay in the Outdoor Furnace business, their manufacturer of choice was HEATMOR Inc.
Since their beginning in 1991, Green Valley Heating has developed a dealer network in Canada from Manitoba to Newfoundland. Green Valley and their dealer network are proud to have made HEATMOR, Canada’s #1 Selling Stainless Steel Outdoor Furnace.
For twenty years, both families were totally committed to the success of Green Valley Heating, as the Central & Eastern Canadian Distributors of HEATMOR Stainless Steel Outdoor Furnaces. In the summer of 2011 Charlie & Beth decided to retire and Paul & Linda became the sole owner’s of Green Valley Heating. Together with their team, they continue their commitment to Green Valley’s success by offering superior products and outstanding customer service.
Adding new products such as Anthracite coal and Keystoker coal burning appliances along with existing items like Logstor flexible insulated pipe and a long list of plumbing & heating parts has made Green Valley Heating a one stop shop for hydronic heating supplies and accessories.
In 2016 Green Valley Heating celebrated 25 years in business. They continue to look forward to many more years of working with Heatmor – “an honest company manufacturing a quality product.”
